Hot Choc Orange

This gin hot cocktail recipe is a simple way to add a zesty orange note to your favourite hot drink. Chocolate and orange go so well together- so we just had to pair Blood Orange Gin with the classic hot chocolate.

40ml Beefeater Blood Orange Gin
200ml milk / milk alternative
60g Dark Chocolate (finely chopped)
Pinch salt
How to make a
Hot Choc Orange
Step 1. Melt chocolate in bain-marie.
Step 2. Add to room temperature milk and if available used a milk frother and frothy until a mouse develops.
Step 3. Add gin into mug and top with hot chocolate.
Step 4. If a frother is not available, add milk to a saucepan and to a simmer over a low heat stirring continuously. Remove from heat as soon as bubbles begin to appear. Stir in chopped dark chocolate and mix until smooth.
Step 5. Add the gin and pinch of salt and stir until combined.
