Chilled Beefeater Dry mixed with Dolin de Chambery Dry Vermouth and served with a rice cracker and mascarpone
Discovered on a trip to Japan where a rice cake with mascarpone cheese and honey are served as a pairing along with a Dry Martini. The creaminess of the mascarpone and the sweetness of the honey create a wonderful balance with the dryness of the cocktail.
Thin rice cracker topped with mascarpone and a fine drizzle of runny honey, a lemon twist is optional.
40ml Beefeater Dry - 4 parts
10ml Dolin de Chambery Dry Vermouth - 1 part
Pour both ingredients into a mixing glass and stir together to chill and dilute to release flavours and aromas of the drink.
Strain into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass.
Offer lemon twist and serve rice cracker with mascarpone and honey on the side on a small plate or board.
