Inspired by Dandelyan's London Garden Gimlet, a feature on their iconic Modern Botany menu, this citrusy twist on a classic gimlet is a nod to the award winning bar where we were first listed. This recipe can be reinterpreted using any citrus fruits and is a great way to repurpose leftover citruses in the bar and reduce waste.

50ml Beefeater London Garden
Tonic Lime cordial:
100ml Fresh lime juice
40ml Tonic water
75g White granulated sugar
Zest of 3 limes
How to make a
Step 1. Tonic Lime cordial recipe: Combine the zest of 3 limes and sugar in a bowl and muddle to extract oils into the mix. Then add fresh lime and tonic, frequently stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Once dissolved, strain the mix to ensure no bits of zest remain.
Step 2. Store in a sealed jar or bottle in the fridge for up to one week.
Step 3. Add all ingredients except for the soda to a cocktail shaker and shake hard.
Step 4. Add Soda water to a tall glass over ice then fine strain the rest of the cocktail into the glass and top with more soda if required.
Step 5. Garnish.
