Blood Orange Hot Chocolate

PREPARE

Start by making the ginger hot chocolate. Add 1L milk and a generous handful of diced ginger to a saucepan. Add to a medium heat and gently press the ginger with the back of a spoon. Add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt, stir to combine. Heat for 3 minutes and strain

COMBINE

Add Beefeater Blood Orange Gin to one mugful of your ginger hot chocolate and top with whipped cream

GARNISH

Dust with cocoa powder and grated nutmeg, garnish and serve
