A dirty martini, but not as you know it. By adding in a little lemon, using Nocellara olives, and muddling things up, you’ll level up this classic gin cocktail.

This elevated dirty martini recipe was developed for Beefeater Gin by the legendary martini maestro Alessandro Palazzi, the head bartender of London institutions Dukes Bar. Salut, Alessandro!

25 ml

Nocellara olives

English Dry Vermouth

Lemon Juice

A dash

to garnish

How To Make a Dirty Martini

Add

Add the Nocellara olives, lemon juice and bitters to a cocktail shaker

Muddle

Muddle the mixture into a “sauce”

Pour

Add your Beefeater London Dry Gin

Shake

Shake with ice until cold

Strain

Double strain into a chilled glass

Garnish

Spritz the glass with the lemon zest and top with an olive on a cocktail stick
